Bert Oliva, Motivational Speaker
“We’re doing an event and is mostly for the sponsors and people that wanted to really do something for themselves. But for the next couple of days—actually the next week and a half—we are doing the children of Belize; that’s our main focus. My role? I’ve been doing seminars for over twenty-one years and I came to this country three years ago and we did couple of event for a couple of the children in different parts of the country and I fell in love. I feel in love with the children, I feel in love with the country and we came last year and did over eight thousand children; we got a letter of recognition. So our goal this year is to do at least ten thousand children. And it is awesome because the children actually take action. We have been communicating with them with the social media and we have started to see a shift and the expansion of their belief system; that anything is possible. So what we teach is called humanology, the scientific study of human potential. I truly believe that everyone has a greatness inside of them. The only person that holds them back is ourselves. So through the tools and the techniques that we’ve done over twenty-one years all over the world, they actually get not only motivated—because motivation lasts momentarily—it is giving them the inspiration and the tools to maintain that motivation for a long period of time and create that change in our life.”
Oliva will be presenting to high school students from across Belize City on Wednesday at the Jungle Pavilion at Old Belize.
